We wish a Happy Fatherβs Day to all the dads and celebrate the awesome warrior widowed moms who do so much for their families too! We know that this can be a sensitive day for many families.
God promises to love us with an everlasting love that I pray is a comfort at this time. We also encourage you to safely get together whether in person or online to support one another. With that in mind, we offer the following activities on Father’s Day.
Did you know that since Jan 2020 Widow Strong has…
- Served over 1,910 meals to widows, their children, elderly shut-ins, and families that lost jobs.Β
- Gave over 250 gift bags to widows and their childrenΒ
- Shared over 250 faith-based books and materials with widows and their children.Β
- Encouraged and offered support through online grief support groups to approximately 120 widows.
To support our Widow Strong programs, we have a fun gathering and gentle 5K event planned for widows and their children on Sunday, June 21st, this Father’s Day. Whether you can join us in person or in spirit, thank you for partnering with us to support widowed families!
