March Movie Gathering & Powerful Prayer

Dear Friends,

Early in March of 2020, before there were any lock-downs, I awoke weeping two mornings in a row. My spirit was unsettled and that became a calling for me and our widowed community. A few of us watched The War Room to learn to pray strategically together. Within days the pandemic hit.

As the saying goes, hindsight is 2020.

The War Room starring Priscilla Shirer is a fantastic movie that shares the power of strategic prayer. Studio Movie Grill in Marietta has donated one of their theater spaces for us to watch The War Room on Saturday, March 13th, 2021!

Our theme for March is Marching Forward in Faith without Fear of the Future! Gathering events are so important to our widows and their children and we are thrilled to offer this opportunity!

The Widow Strong Galentine’s Event was a beautiful success! Our widows and their children were blessed with a wonderful movie, popcorn, an incredible service staff at Studio Movie Grill, gift bags of presents for the moms,

faith-based books, presents for the children, and boxes of chocolates for each family as they left! It was a wonderful way to show God’s love on a sensitive day for widowed families. Thank you for giving to make this gathering event possible!

It’s a cinematic reminder of the authority promised us in 2 Corinthians 10:7-8 and the power we possess in 2 Timothy 1:7. It’s time to claim that authority and harness that power!
