Widow Strong: 3 Big Ideas for Galentine’s Day

 In Newsletter

Dear Friends,
As Valentine’s Day approaches, we are delighted to share activities and events that celebrate God’s love for widows and their children.

February 14th can be a challenging reminder that life has changed for a widow and her family.

3 Big Ideas to Empower Galentine’s Day

1. Remember Who’s You Are. You are Beloved! Take a walk somewhere beautiful and talk to God.
Jeremiah 31:3 says:
“The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
Hosea 11:4
I led them with cords of kindness, with ropes of love; I lifted the yoke from their necks and bent down to feed them.

2. Plan Ahead: Crafting a life you love through holidays takes planning ahead. Is there a trip or adventure you’ve always wanted to plan? Is there a class or event you’d like to attend? Talk to your friends and family to get ideas of what they would like to do together, do the research now, and make a fabulous plan for Valentine’s Day!

3. Get Together and Give: Gathering in community and giving a gift of time, attention, or care creates new opportunities to enjoy your life as it is today. Try it and see! I’d love to know how it goes!
