Welcome to the Widow Strong November Newsletter!

As we prepare for the holidays, I want to express our deep gratitude to our ministry partners and friends for standing with us to serve widowed families. Now, let’s catch up and celebrate new beginnings together!

As we enter into November and the joy it can bring, many widowed families are experiencing a new chapter, and it can be a challenging time.

To help, we are sharing in-person and online events to empower these sensitive times for widows and their children.

Here are the highlights:

Miles for Bethany 2022

Our heart-felt thanks to #MilesForBethany for their support as a major donor for #WidowStrong. The 5k Run/Walk/Wheel/Paw race was held October 29th, 2022, in Dunwoody, Georgia! Watch our 1-minute recap by clicking the photo or button below.

The Buford Maze Fall Family Outing

We will gather at the pumpkin patch area at 4:00 PM to take fall family pictures and hand out snack bags. We will explore the corn maze, take a hayride, play in the kids corner and see farm animals. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon and evening exploring Georgia’s best corn maze. Please ask for the widowstrong discount at the ticket counter to get $5 off each admission ticket

RSPV for Event

Join Widow Strong Founder, Mishael Porembski, for a live, online zoom workshop and conversation to empower your holiday season with health, hope, and healing. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information with the zoom info for the workshop meeting. See you online!

Hope for the Holidays is for people in the community who have experienced grief, divorce, brokenness, or addiction and need help navigating the holiday season in light of their loss, struggle, or family situation.
