Welcome this week’s Widow Strong Special Sunday Edition! Summer is usually my reset season, a time to slow down and re-evaluate how the year is going. I love to take long stretches of time and connect with my children while we explore together.

2. Summertime Activities: Kids Can Cook Get started teaching your kids the kitchen skills they’ll need to care for themselves and their families. Most of us have baked sweets with our kids at one time or another. It can be fun… and also can be messy, slow, and distracted cooks. And it’s probably because of these frustrations that many of us don’t venture beyond the realm of homemade treats and special occasion foods when teaching our kids to cook. So we hope to motivate and share the link to be able to cook ordinary, everyday food sorted by their ages! Enjoy!
