Stronger Together
Dear Friends,
As Charles Dickens wrote in a Tale of Two Cities, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…” The challenges of 2020 were of Biblical proportions creating one of the worst years recorded, AND the way our tribe of supporters and widows rose to the challenge astonishingly created the BEST Mission Impact Year-to-Date for Widow Strong. Your partnership ushered God’s loving power into our lives that reminded me of Acts 4:32-33.
“Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.” (emphasis mine)
By giving together, we made a powerful difference of HOPE in the lives of widows and their children during at time when some widowed moms were losing jobs, finances, food, and housing. I am filled with gratitude. Thank you! |
