June Theme: Plan for Success
Friends, we have several significant holidays in June for widows and their families. One way we can serve and empower this new chapter can be summed up this way…
3 June Secret Sauce Empowerment Steps:
1. Plan Ahead: Make positive plans in advance for challenging days this month, such as Father’s Day.
2. Give Back: Giving to others can help us feel better faster. Focus as a family on helping someone and you may just find unexpected joy!
3. Get Moving: Exercising together as a family can help our brains rest from grief, can help our minds heal from trauma, and get the good endorphins flowing!
Let’s be intentional together to exercise, talk, and create fun new summer memories and self-care rhythms.

Father’s Day June 19th: Bless a Widowed Family on this Sensitive Day. Join Widow Strong for our friendly Father’s Day 5K and walk to walk with friends and family in your area! International Widows’ Day June 23rd: Surprise a Widowed Family with giftcard or homemade meal. If you’re a widow in Orlando, FL, Mishael Porembski will be speaking at a luncheon for their widowed community at First Baptist Orlando! |
