An evening created to encourage widowed families
Widow Strong, in partnership with Passion City Church’s Love Atlanta initiative, Chastain Park Conservancy, The Home Depot Foundation, Whole Foods Market, Chick-fil-A, and community volunteers, is hosting a special Father’s Day Weekend Gathering created to encourage widows, widowers, and their children.
The Story
A Story of Enhancement
The Home Depot Foundation, Chastain Park Conservancy, Love Atlanta, and Widow Strong are partnering to enhance the Veterans Garden at Farm Chastain.
The revitalized garden will support future therapeutic, educational, and wellness-focused programming serving veterans and the broader community.
The week of service culminates with a Father’s Day Weekend Gathering created specifically to encourage widows, widowers, and their children.
The event serves as both a celebration of community and a reminder that no family should walk through grief alone.
